Phoebe Anderson is a talented yet pessimistic art journalist who prefers doing things alone. However, her boss, Mr. Montgomery, wants her to be his successor since his health is declining. He assigns Phoebe to Kira Wallin, an optimistic newbie. In the next issue of "The Art Garden," they create an interpretation of the renowned Nighthawks by Edward Hopper. 

Can the two of them come up with an idea that both agree on and will they become more than just co-workers?

To combat their boredom, they decide to start a band and make their own instruments. The group lets their imaginations run wild and creates an unforgettable, immensely fun performance.
